With a Heritage Overlay in place, every design move came with planning hurdles, structural demands, and inevitable delays to the project timeline. Through thoughtful design and careful execution, we turned a once cramped and dilapidated terrace into a fresh, open-plan entertaining rear zone, complemented by refreshed wet areas and newly renovated bedrooms with ample storage for both clothing and flexible work-from-home or study spaces.
This renovation was about striking the perfect balance between character and contemporary living. We retained the heritage features to honour the traditional terrace streetscape; while introducing a contemporary Scandinavian style in the renovated zones to create light-filled, functional, and inviting interiors. The result is a home that feels timeless yet modern; designed to appeal to new tenants and enhance long-term value.
