The transformation of this original mid-century home was guided by a clear vision: preserve its distinctive architectural charm while reimagining the interiors in a contemporary style. Central to the redesign was the renovation of the stepped kitchen. Custom joinery was crafted to carve out a new way of entertaining – integrating functionality with fluid connections to the living spaces, and creating a hub that feels both practical and refined.
The renovation also focused on upgrading the home’s wet areas – bathrooms, ensuite, and laundry – where challenges with drainage, plumbing, and asbestos were carefully resolved. These spaces now reflect a new-age elegance, seamlessly complementing the home’s original mid-century architecture.
